Yesterday we participated in the first meeting of the Iberos + project held at the facilities of the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo. In this meeting, the foundations were laid for the collaborative projects that will be developed during the period 2023-2026.

The "Instituto de Biofabricación en Red (Iberos +)" is the natural evolution of the es la evolución Iberos proyect (Instituto de bioingeniería en red para el envejecimiento saludable) which during the years 2017-2020 laid the foundations for this new collaboration.

The IBEROS + proyect is made up by 14 public-private entities of the Euroregion Galicia-North Portugal among which are 5 universities, 5 research centers and 4 companies. In total more than 150 researcher with a common objective: improve people health and quality of life with a focus in diseases associated with aging through innovation in the biomanufacturing sector with healthcare applications.
